The Gate of Paradise | Lyngen, Norway
Lyngen, Troms, Norway • Aerial 360° Photograph
As the rivers flow through, let your eyes follow them into the majestic peaks of the Lyngen Alps.
Most people think of the Alps as that mountain range stretching across France, Switzerland, Austria, and Italy. Few know that Norway has its own. The Lyngen Alps rise dramatically in Troms og Finnmark county, east of Tromsø, running through Lyngen and two neighboring municipalities.
This 360° photograph was taken on the border of Troms and Lyngen, capturing the landscape in its full, sweeping scale. This is one of many locations I've documented through drone photography, a service I also offer to businesses and hospitality clients.
A Hiker's Paradise
Look at this image and ask yourself: when was the last time a landscape genuinely stopped you?
The Lyngen Alps offer some of the best nature Norway has to give. In summer, you can climb its peaks, hike through the valleys, and lose yourself in the scenery. In winter, the same landscape transforms into a playground for skiers, ice climbers, and anyone who needs a good dose of adrenaline.
Whatever season brings you here, it's worth every step.
